# Laying the foundations

Welcome to the beginning of our Pyreplay journey, where we're setting up everything needed to make this idea a reality. This first step is all about getting the basics right. Let's break down what we're focusing on:

### Branding

A big part of this milestone is figuring out how Pyreplay will look and feel. We're talking about designing our logo, picking colors, and deciding on the overall vibe we want for Pyreplay. We want it to stand out and feel welcoming to everyone who comes to play.

### Architecture Decisions

The backbone of Pyreplay lies in its robust and scalable software architecture. During this milestone, we decide on critical decisions that will shape the development and operation of our platform. This includes choosing the right technologies, frameworks, and structures to build a secure, efficient, and user-friendly environment. Our aim is to create a platform that not only performs flawlessly across devices but also integrates seamlessly with the Alephium blockchain, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

### **Showing Off a Little**

We're also putting together a little demo of Pyreplay. Think of it as a few sneak peeks or a mini-version of what we're building. It's a way for us to test out our ideas and show you, and maybe even some future partners, what Pyreplay is all about.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.pyreplay.com/roadmap/laying-the-foundations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
